Administrative Assistant
Assist with supporting the Committee on Administration tasks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performing Data Entry to keep accurate data of Membership to MKEBC

Support with minutes and other recorded information for Committee members
-
Support with reports and KPI information gathering for the Committee.

Support with capture of relevant event information to be fed to the Committee and supporting the Marketing activities of MKEBC.

Communications Assistant / Copywriter
Responsible for supporting / creating communications content on behalf of MKEBC. Copywrite press releases to develop blog content and create social media posts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Develop, write, and edit marketing and communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and social media content alongside Committee members
-
Help promote communications and marketing materials through appropriate social channels
-
Assist with setting up tracking analytics and creation of reports detailing successes and failures of communications campaigns
-
Ensure that all communications and marketing align with MKEBC brand and mission
-
Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos
-
Work with Committee members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Marketing and Comms or Journalism experience

Web Developer
Create reliable and high-performing web-based applications and services.
Either Front End or Full Stack.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
write code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as PHP or JavaScript
-
plan and prototype new applications
-
design the architecture of the components of an application
-
decide on the best technologies and languages
-
test sites and applications in different browsers and environments
-
test new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases
-
build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data
-
build and maintain databases
-
carry out code refactoring and optimisation of existing code
-
document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it
-
design information architecture within an application or website.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
-
technical knowledge in areas such as client-side components, server-side languages, web application frameworks and database management systems
-
experience with version control systems, and a thorough understanding of the architecture of web applications and web security and encryption
-
experience of development methodologies (such as Agile and Waterfall)
-
good communication skills.
Event Coordinator
Working with the Committee, organises and supervises promotional and social events. Duties include brainstorming with Committee to enhance an event's success, preparing budgets and working with Caterers and other vendors to deliver events that meet the requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Creating event proposals which fit requirements and presenting proposals

Planning event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining, and guest list
-
Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with and organising vendors
-
Communicating with Committee, Copywriter and Admin team to create effective advertisements for each event, and when necessary, crafting marketing materials such as print and Internet advertisements for individual events

Planning multiple events at once
